Diving Redang offers more than 30 dive sites and has some of the World's most mature coral gardens. Fantastic fish, colorful coral reefs and shipwrecks all ensure a great diving and snorkeling experience.The best time for diving is March-October.
How to get to Redang
Berjaya Air has daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur Subang airport to Redang Airport. Alternatively you can take a ferry from the East Coast or charter a boat out to the island.
To Redang Island (approximate timings)
- Direct flight from Kuala Lumpur's Subang airport - 75 minutes
- Ferry from Shah Bander Jetty (East coast) - 90 minutes
- Flight from Kuala Lumpur to Terengganu Airport - 40 minutes
- Terengganu Airport to Shah Bander Jetty - 20 minute drive
Please note that the ferry can be subject to cancellation or delay, particularly during the wet season of November to February. Flights are also subject to delays. For this reason we recommend that you combine your stay with an east coast hotel rather than book a connection with an International flight on the same day.
