Kutching City tour This tour takes in the most interesting sites in the city including the Cat Museum, Astana (former residence of the White Rajah) Fort Margarita, Tua Pek Kong a magnificent Chinese Temple built in 1876, Sarawak Museum plus a panoramic view of the city from the Sarawak Civic Centre. Sarawak river cruise Enjoy a two-hour cruise that provides a unique view of the riverine life of Kutching City. Cruise pass colourful small boathouses used in ferrying locals called Malay Tambang, houses built on stilts, fishing villages, vegetable markets, the Astana and make a visit to the Orchid Garden.
Semonggok wildlife centre Learn how the orang utans rescued from captivity are rehabilitated for eventual release into their natural habitat. Among the highlights of this tour is a 20 minute walk on a plank walkway through the undulating and dense rainforest and the chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of exotic tropical birds and other wildlife.
Sarawak cultual village Dubbed as the 'living museum' of Sarawak the village boasts seven ethnic houses representative of the Malay, Chinese, Penan and the longhouses of the Bidayuh, Iban, Orang Ulu and the Melanau.
Irrawady dolphin watch & mangrove swam The Irrawady or snubfin dolphin inhabits rivers, estuaries and shallow coastal areas. The Santubong area is one of the best places to view these rare and shy marine mammals.
Bako National Park The journey takes you past beautiful palms, coconut plantations and mango swamps. A truly well preserved National park awaits you in this unspoilt tropical rain forest inhabited with birds, snakes, proboscis monkeys, macaques, wild boar, sambar deer and monitor lizards.
