Day 1 - Kuala Lumpur You will be picked up from the lower lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel for the four hour drive north to the Park's Headquarters at Kuala Tembeling, followed by a scenic two and half hour open boat ride to the Taman Negara Resort which will be your base for the next two nights. Your accommodation will be in a comfortable, air- conditioned wooden chalet with shower. After a buffet dinner and an optional video presentation on Taman Negara, experience a night jungle walk.
Day 2 - Taman Negara After breakfast prepare for a full day of exploration. Start by a gentle trek to the swaying canopy bridge high in the forest where you can enjoy the panoramic view of Malaysia's highest peak. In the afternoon take a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh, a spectacular waterfall where you can swim in the river. Return to the resort for a buffet dinner.
Day 3 - Taman Negara After breakfast return by boat to the park headquarters and then continue by road to Kuala Lumpur arriving late afternoon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Top Taman Negara Travel Tips
Because spaces to stay in the park are very limited, accommodation can be very difficult to confirm, therefore please book as early as possible.
To really enjoy this fantastic National Park, you should be reasonably fit and comfortable with nature. Your luggage should be limited to a holdall and the rest can be stored in Kuala Lumpur. Dress should be suitable for the Jungle - long sleeve shirts and trousers, good walking shoes and warm jacket. Also take binoculars and a torch. Transfers to and from Kuala Lumpur are by air conditioned coach on a group basis from the The Crowne Plaza Hotel. If you prefer, we can arrange private transfers for an additional surcharge direct from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur or from the East coast. Details on request.
