Diving Tioman Island is ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike with its stunning gardens and large marine life, like giant manta ray.The best time for diving is between April - Oct. Dive packages available - Ask for further details.

How to get to Tioman Island

Berjaya Air has daily direct flights from Kuala Lumpur Subang airport to Redang Airport. Alternatively you can take a ferry from the East Coast or charter a boat out to the island. There are connecting flights to Tioman Island from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore or the island can be reached by ferry from Mersing which is on the east coast.

To Tioman Island

Direct flight from Kuala Lumpur's Subang airport - 55 minutes

Direct flight from Singapore Seletar airport - 40 minutes

Ferry from Mersing - two hours

Kuala Lumpur to Mersing - four and half hour drive

Kuantan to Mersing - three hour drive

Singapore to Tioman Island - four hours by catamaran

Please note that the ferry can be subject to cancellation or delay, particularly during the wet season of November to February. Flights are also subject to delays. For this reason we do not recommend a connection with an international flight and would suggest an overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur or Singapore prior to taking the ferry or flight.
